Steven Scicluna (1984) is a graphic artist that operates in the space betweeen fine art, illustration and graphic design. Originally from Malta and having studied in the UK, he is currently based in Valencia, Spain.

With a background in painting, sculpture, graphic design, graffiti art and illustration, and being equally influenced by all disciplines, Steven’s work is rooted in graphic symbolism and iconography. At the heart of his work is a fascination at how a limited set of symbols and shapes have been endlessly adapted throughout history, and have as a result come to visually define countless cultures and eras.

Steven also runs online shop Lefty Le Mur which sells hand-crafted graphic products derived from his original work.

He has held and been part of numerous exhibitions, including in the UK, Spain, Malta, Poland and Canada, and aims to continue exploring more cultures, cities and countries through his practice.
